Fans are wondering if Axl Rose is still alive after a death hoax went viral on the internet.

Axl Rose is an American singer and songwriter who was born William Bruce Rose Jr. Axl recently joined the list of celebrities whose names have appeared in online death hoaxes.

Axl Rose is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Rose is best known as the sole surviving member and lead vocalist and lyricist of Guns N’ Roses since the band’s inception in 1985.

Rose withdrew from the public eye for several years after the conclusion of their 2.5-year Use Your Illusion Tour in 1994, and the band split up due to creative and interpersonal differences.

Rose was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of Guns N’ Roses, but he asked to be removed from the Hall and did not attend the ceremony.

The 60-year-old rocker questioned if he still has to pay taxes if he’s dead. Later, he uploaded a picture to social media showing what appeared to be a ghost hovering over a mixing board.

After a fake MSNBC website published the death rumors on Tuesday, they quickly spread, leading fans to send their condolences. This is the same website that falsely reported Actor Macaulay Culkin’s death last month.

What Happened To Axl Rose?

Rose finally addressed his medical situation, assuring Guns N’ Roses fans that he was already improving.

He never went into detail, but it was bad enough that he had to cancel the band’s concert in Scotland.

On Thursday, he issued a follow-up statement on Twitter, thanking his fans for their unwavering support. He also apologized to them for canceling the show in Glasgow.

Rose provided no details about his condition but implied that his vocal cords were the source of the problem.

He admitted to following the doctor’s advice to rest, work with a vocal coach, and address their sound issues. He also stated that, in the end, it is all about giving his fans their best selves.

Axl Rose Health Issue Revealed

Fans may have already learned about the frontman’s condition while there were still questions about his health.

Guitarist Richard Fortus allegedly wrote on Facebook that the rocker had hurt his vocal cords. This could account for Rose’s recent update, stating that he was working with a vocal coach due to sound issues.

Singers and performers in the music industry frequently sustain vocal injuries. Some of them develop more severe conditions that necessitate surgery.

Fortunately, Guns N’ Roses had previously stated that Rose’s illness was only temporary and that he needed to rest.

They revealed that due to medical advice and illness, GN’R would be unable to perform in Glasgow on July 5, 2022. Furthermore, they stated that they were investigating options for rescheduling the performance and urged their fans to hold onto their tickets while they awaited further information.

Rose informed their London fans that he had gone to the doctor to check on his health before the Glasgow concert was canceled. Because of the results of the checkup, they altered some of the setlists. Home
