Dale Lastman was born on March 19, 1957, as the eldest son of former Toronoton Mayor Mel Lastman.

Dale, the former mayor’s son, arrived with Marilyn, his childhood sweetheart. His parents were known for throwing lavish parties on various occasions when he was growing up.

Dale’s parents planned a bar mitzvah for him, in which a posh downtown hotel was transformed into King Arthur’s court. Dale, on the other hand, went on to become one of Osgoode Hall Law School’s longest-serving securities law lecturers.

He has received the Adjunct Faculty Award, Alumni Gold Key Award, and the rank of Honorary Detective from the Toronto Police Service during his career.

Dale has also been named a Distinguished Visiting Fellow in Ryerson University’s Law Practice Program. The Canadian lawyer has a lot of experience on corporate boards of directors.

He was named to Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40” list and received the “Best of The Best” Canadian Leadership Award. Dale is currently employed by Goodmans, where he practices corporate, commercial, and securities law.

Yes, he’s married. In fact, according to one of the online portals in 2010, Dale Lastman’s wife is Robin Lastman. She is also the co-chairwoman of Goodmans LLP. Meanwhile, according to the report, the couple married on July 31, 1983.

The couple’s history of their relationship is unknown, so it’s unclear when they met. With their close family and friends, they held their wedding reception at the INN Park.

Dale Lastman will be 64 years old in 2021. Lastman comes from a well-known family, with his father having served as the mayor of Toronto.

In January 2020, he lost his mother after a long battle with illness. Mel Lastman, his father, died on December 11, 2021, at the age of 88.

The big names bring with them the big scandals. When Grace Louie, a married employee, admitted to having an extramarital affair with him for 14 years, this became true for the Lastmans. She came forward in the year 2020, alleging a long-term relationship that ended in 1974.

She also went to get child support for the two sons she claimed were Mel’s. The case was dismissed because Louie had waited 30 years to speak about their affair.
