Hunter Mason, a student-athlete from Western Illinois University, died last night. In April, Hunter was told he had a brain tumor.

Besides, Hunter has two years of eligibility remaining after graduating in December of ’21, according to sources.

As a result, as of this writing, no reliable details about his death and health problems have been found on the internet. It’s unknown if he perished of a brain tumor or something else entirely.

Football Player Hunter Mason’s Wikipedia

Hunter Mason, a football player, was on his way to becoming a household figure in the sports world. However, he didn’t have a Wikipedia profile of his own.

On the official website of Western Illinois University, however, a brief summary of his professional accomplishments may be found.

According to the website, he attended Nevada High School in Nevada, Missouri, where he had a 4.0 GPA and was named to the All-Southwest Missouri team three times.

He was also a member of the National Honor Society (2015-18) and received all-conference and all-district accolades from 2015 to 2017. His career highs include 185 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

On his Facebook page, the 22-year-old has shared a flood of photos with his family and friends. His parents’ names, however, have not been revealed.

Hunter also appears to be his parents’ only child, based on the photographs. He was born on October 19, 1999, in Nevada, Missouri, to his mom and dad.

Further, Hunter was named All-MVFC Honorable Mention, MVFC All-Academic Honorable Mention, and was ninth on the team in tackles (34.0).

He recorded four solo tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble in a win over South Dakota State on Oct. 16, and two sacks in a win over Illinois State on Oct. 16. (Oct. 30, 2021).
