Is Big Sky New Villian Reba McEntire Hair A Wig? Despite fan specidulation, Big Sky’s new villain Reba McEntire hairdo is not a wig. It is entirely her own natural hair.
The American crime drama thriller series is back with its third season descending on the ABC channel on November 9.
Creator David E. Kelley based the project on the book The Highway series by author C. J. Box, set around Lewis and Clark County, Montana.
The show upgrades after every installment as it follows Jessie and Cassie, a private detective and an ex-cop, as they find common ground and solve cases impacting their community.
The certified antagonist, Reba, enters with her harmless attire as she tunes into her dark side by coloring her hair red and taking on the persona of Sunny Barnes, the matriarch of a family of cattle ranchers.
About Her Union
Decades in the making! Reba McEntire and Rex Linn first crossed paths 30 years before they started dating.
The “Fancy” songstress met the actor while shooting 1991’s The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw.
“We’ve kept in contact with each other over the years, and we both know the same people, so it was just like good friends getting back together having dinner in January,” she explained on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in November 2020. “And then we started texting and talking on the telephone, getting to know each other better during the quarantine.”
McEntire was previously married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987 and music manager Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015. She shares son Shelby, born in 1990, with Blackstock.
“The divorce was not my idea. I didn’t want it in any shape, form or fashion,” the country music legend told CMT’s Cody Alan in 2016. ”So it was really hard to make the adjustment, when someone’s not happy. I just want everybody to be happy in their lives, because our lives are too short to be miserable.”
She added at the time: ”The thing that got me through this change in life, is number one, God. I prayed every day to help me have the strength to move one foot in front of the other, and continue on with what I’m supposed to be doing … and then with my team … and my friends, my family, my girlfriends.”
Is Big Sky New Villian Reba McEntire Hair A Wig?
Reba McEntire plays the villain in Big Sky, and no, it isn’t a wig she is wearing.
In contrast to her bubbly character name, Sunny Barnes, Reba McEntire has got a dark side as she painted her hair red.
Her controversial hairdos have always been a topic of discussion, with many saying she looked like she wore fake hair.
Although we are unsure how true the rumors are, it masks her deceiving smile.
Season three of the crime thriller Big Sky promises hell for the former investigative team of Dewell and Hoyt.
McEntire did her homework before joining the sets, putting a clear boundary between her on-screen persona and her true personality.
Having had enough of constantly playing herself, she wanted to embody a villain the crueler, the better.
At first glance, many may mistake her for a sweet, humble woman of the woods but be aware as she serves as the head of Sunny Barnes excursions, a gambling site.
The former Malibu Country star commented on the contrast between her split psyche, as she could teach how to cook a desert while still knowing how to incapacitate you with one blow.
She summed up the part from the get-go, finding her attitude and looks from the first episode. But she is not putting everything on the table as she has some juicy tricks up her sleeve.
We do not doubt that it was a project of a lifetime as she gets to play couples with her real-life boyfriend, Rex Linn.

Then came the legendary attendees at the 2020 CMA when she let the world see.
