Last week, the former AFL rookie Jordan Barham was killed in a car accident in northern Victoria’s Nagambie.
According to a statement released by Victoria Police on January 20, emergency services were called to Mullers Road around 3:20 p.m. after reports that a car had crashed into a tree and caught fire.
Crews arrived, but they were unable to save the driver of the vehicle. The precise cause of the accident is still unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
Werribee also paid tribute to Barham, who played for the club for two seasons in the VFL from 2006 to 2008.
