He started getting those weird surges from March 2021, he started having difficulty staying in conversation with other people.
The following months increased the intensity and frequency of such surges, he would often be occupied with the thoughts of them and wake up all night long according to Wild 94.9.
As time passed by, he started developing brain fog and became more sensitive to light and sound. He was prescribed sleeping medications by the doctor which would give him around 2 to 3 hours of sleep per night.

In September 2021, he had a major episode of those surges and got knocked off. JV was taken to the emergency room by his wife Natasha and later JV got diagnosed with Lyme disease.
Although JV is recovering with help from Natasha and medications, he is not completely healthy and does not speak much about his health and condition because speaking about his disease increases the chances of having another episode.
