According to Tmz, the Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud broke the news about the team’s dislike of the overweight during the Tampa Bay Podcast, which became the focus around the middle of July.

The athlete has admitted to being overweight. He has, however, disputed the report’s exaggeration, claiming it to be false. The Buccaneers’ American running back is currently seen working out and losing weight in order to get ready for the upcoming NFL season, which begins in August.

At the peak state of the player, he generally weighs around 230 pounds, and as per pictures posted online, the footballer seems to have gained a lot of extra weight, which might not be ideal for the player. However, in the recent report, he has explained that the reports of the minicamp were not true and his weight was around 245 around that time in his Twitter account that he goes by @Leonard Fournette

The American footballer weighs around 228 pounds on the NFL website, and an update on the body measurement will soon be revealed. However, per his social media, where he is seen intensely working out, the weight must have been muscle.

Leonard Fournette, running back of Buccaneers, who was said to be weighing 228 during last season, was reported to gain over 30 pounds.

On March 23, 2022, the Buccaneers made a new three-year deal offering a contract of $21 million. The club expects the 27-year-old player to play in his peak form.
