Greg Lynn was reportedly detained on November 22, 2021, in connection with the March 2020 disappearance of two elderly campers on a camping trip in Wonnangatta Valley.
Police learned the couple were camping before they vanished after a 20-month investigation and intensive searches in the Victorian Alps.
The truck was later discovered at their campsite with little fire damage. On March 21, the car was fully burned out at the Dry River Creek Track in the Wonnangatta Valley.
According to the detectives, a blue Nissan Patrol from the late 1990s was seen on CCTV near the location where the capers had visited previously.
The Pilots, on the other hand, had a vehicle of the same make and model, but in a different color. Furthermore, police have seized the vehicle, suspecting that he may have painted it to conceal its likelihood.
