Naomi Biden, President Joe Biden’s eldest granddaughter, will have her wedding reception at the White House, marking the first time in 14 years that the executive residence has hosted a wedding reception for a presidential family member.
The news was made by Elizabeth Alexander, the first lady’s communications director, in a statement released Monday.
“All wedding celebrations are still in the planning phases for the First Family, the couple, and their parents, and we look forward to revealing additional information in the coming months,” the first lady’s office stated.

The celebration for Naomi has been arranged for November 19, but the wedding ceremony site has not been revealed. If Naomi and her fiancé, Peter Neal, want to have a Catholic ceremony, it is normally held at a church.
