Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone first met in 1995 at a comedy writing class at The Groundlings School in L.A. Melissa told Ellen DeGeneres of their meeting, “we were friends from, like, day one.”

The duo has shared the screen plenty of time together, with Ben first making an appearance on Gilmore Girls, on which McCarthy played chef Sookis St. James in 2003. 

In 2013, the actress told More Magazine, “I got hit with the lucky stick with Ben”, to which her husband added, “We got hit with the same lucky stick. From the very first time we spoke, we were on the same page. The pair tied the knot in 2005 after dating for seven years. Since then, they have had two daughters together named Vivian in 2007 and Georgette in 2010. 

In 2012, Ben was there to support his wife when she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in ‘The Bridesmaids.’ In the same year, Ben made a cameo in Melissa’s film “Identity Thief” as he was there in Atlanta, where the movie was filmed.

In 2015, Falcone was also there to support McCarthy when she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The couple is not only a romantic partner but also a professional partner. Together they started On the Day Productions and have written and produced films like “Tammy,” “The Boss, and Thunder Force.” 

The pair were the definition of #CoupleGoals when they rocked up to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in matching tracksuits. They have known each other for 28 years and seem to be enjoying every day so far.
