In addition, after the 2010 earthquake that ravaged Haiti, she founded the Sanela Diana Jenkins Human Rights Project somewhere at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2008 and the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization with actor Sean Penn.

Sanela Diana Jenkins is the founder and CEO of D Empire Entertainment, a full-service music label that represents new and veteran artists at the crossroads of traditional and cutting-edge media strategy, branding, PR, recording, distribution, and licensing.

She married Roger Jenkins, a banking executive, in 1999.

Sanela received £150 million (nearly $195 million) as part of their divorce settlement, and she sold her Malibu mansion for $87 million to Jan Koum, the founder of WhatsApp, according to The Los Angeles Times.

She was honored by the Center for Peace and Multi-Ethnic Cooperation in 2009 with the Peace Connection contribution Award.

Jenkins was acknowledged and awarded for her continuous practical support and remarkable humanitarian initiatives at the Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina Gala in Washington, D.C., on May 5, 2018.

Sanela Dijana Jenkins was born in Sarajevo in 1973. She came from a middle-class home and was the oldest of two children. The actress holds a Bosnian nationality. Her ethnic background is White.

Her mother was an accountant, and her dad was an economist. The family lived in a small concrete apartment building, common in Yugoslavia during the communist era.

Serb soldiers tragically killed Diana’s younger brother Irnis while he was only 21 years old. Sanela was an economics student at the University of Sarajevo at his assassination.

She married Roger Jenkins, a British financier and Barclays Bank’s notable top executive, in 1999. Jenkins met his second wife, a banker with Barclays MNC business, at the Barbican Theatre’s gym, where he lived after his first marriage ended.

They have two children together before eventually divorcing. Sanela founded and launched the Neuro brand of functional beverages product-based organization in Sherman Oaks, California, where she currently serves as President and CEO.
