Chuck Lofton was born and raised in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. Since the inaugural program in September of 1985, Chuck has been a member of 13News Sunrise.

Families, students, and Hoosiers from all walks of life have relied on his projections for decades. He’s also a morning radio personality in Indiana.

He got a Presidential Citation from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2016 after graduating from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. In 2010, he was recognized as an honorary alumnus of Taylor University, and in 2010 he was made an honorary alumnus of Taylor University.

According to WTHR.COM, Chuck had a medical issue two weeks ago that needed medical attention. He has been on the mend since then, with his health steadily improving.

Chuck will be taking some time off from Sunrise to focus on his health. While Chuck would want nothing more than to be back on the air every morning for his audience, now is the time for him to focus on rest and recovery.

He’ll be joining the Sunrise team again shortly. Fortunately, the host is in a resting stage, so there is no need to be concerned.

Chuck Lofton Wikipedia And Age Details To Know

The National Weather Association recognized him as National Broadcaster of the Year in 2007, the highest distinction of his professional career.

Though he wears several hats at Channel 13, he considers “keeping people safe in extreme weather” to be an essential aspect of his work.

Chuck’s annual pay as a broadcast journalist is estimated to be over $80000, according to numerous sources.

However, this is only an estimate; the actual amount has yet to be revealed.

Mary Lou is Chuck’s wife. Timothy, Paul, and Phillip are the couple’s three sons, while Heidi and Courtney are their daughters-in-law.

Lofton married Mary Lou in a private ceremony with only close friends and family members in attendance.
