On the baseball diamond, Goggins lost all of his front teeth while still in school.

Because he had missed practice, he was sprinting around the diamond. He heard someone shout his name, and as he turned his hand to answer, a baseball smacked him in the face, breaking his two front teeth.

They were able to reattach the teeth to the roots after a phone conversation with a dentist.

To make matters worse, he received another “blow” to his front teeth around a year and a half later.

Goggins leaped into a pool, but he landed at the shallow end. As a result, he struck his head and teeth once again. The good fortune he enjoyed the first time around did not repeat itself the second time around.

On November 10, 1971, Walton Goggins Jr. was born. Janet Long and Walton Sanders Goggins Sr. raised Goggins in Birmingham, Alabama.

He was raised in Lithia Springs, Georgia, and attended Lithia Springs High School and Georgia Southern University for a year.

In Los Angeles, Goggins worked for a valet vehicle parking agency and many restaurants.

Goggins met Ray McKinnon while filming Murder in Mississippi after acting in a couple of parts in Georgia. Goggins was married to Leanne Kaun, a Canadian citizen who had a dog-walking company in Laurel Canyon, California, until she committed suicide on November 12, 2004.

In August 2011, Goggins married filmmaker Nadia Conners. Augustus, their son, was born in February of this year.
