Taro Daniel, the son of Paul and Yasue Daniel, is a Japanese professional tennis player.

He has one ATP Tour singles title from the 2018 Istanbul Open, seven ATP Challenger Tour singles titles, and reached a career-high singles ranking of 64 on August 27, 2018.

Taro Daniel is the son of Paul and Yasue Daniel and a professional tennis player.

Yasue, his mother, is Japanese, and Paul, his father, is American. Taro is thus of Asian-American descent.

Taro began playing tennis at the age of seven. During his time in Japan, he practiced at the Shinrin Longwood Tennis Club in Nagoya City. 

In the All Japan Junior Tennis Tournament, he came in third place for under 12 years old. 

Paul And Yasue Daniel Family Details

Paul and Yasue come from different family backgrounds. 

Taro presently resides in New York City, the United States. 

In Spain and Portugal, Daniel had won a handful of ITF Futures events.

Daniel won his first Davis Cup match of his career in the 2015 World Group Play-offs against Colombia, defeating Alejandro Falla in the final tie.

At world no. 93, he broke into the top 100 of the ATP rankings for the first time.

In 2017, Daniel advanced to the second round of the US Open, where he got defeated in four sets by Rafael Nadal.

Daniel made it to the third round of a major slam for the first time in his career after winning the qualification.
