He was taken to the hospital shortly after the accident at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, near the intersection of South Main and Saint Mary’s streets in Wharton, according to DailyVoice.com.
According to Wharton Police, Alexander Rodriguez was identified as the driver.
Rodriguez was arrested on charges of careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, and knowingly leaving the scene of a serious bodily harm accident on Tuesday, June 7.
