With no help from the cops, Claire decided to search for her daughter independently. However, a cop comes by and discovers Sarah’s shoe in the woods, and then soon, a search team is organized.
Later, Kat, captain of the team and the daughter of head coach Ruth Simmons, admits everything. The hazing drinking, taking her to the woods and dropping her over a cliff. She also mentions that Sarah is alive and locked in a shack.
Claire and the police rush to find the shack and see coach Ruth burying Sarah alive in the woods. Claire then pushes her out of the way and pulls Sarah. Sarah saves the day by saying, “abracadabra.”
Ruth loses her balance and falls, hitting her head on a rock and killing herself. Kat and her teammates were arrested.
