As per the reports from Washington Post, on May 19, Michael Louis, a suspect in the shooting, went for back surgery, and Dr. Phillips was his surgeon.
After the successful surgery, Louis returned to his home, but the back pain continued and required additional treatments from the physician. Due to this reason, he just took four lives and shot himself by committing suicide.
