Briony May Williams was born with a limb discrepancy in her left hand, which she refers to as her “small hand.”

Briony May Williams was happy to explain why she has the hand abnormality when asked on Twitter.

@LewiePsMummy on Twitter wondered whether she had Poland’s Syndrome, a rare illness that causes small, webbed fingers.

Briony has established that she does not have the illness and that it is the product of an undiagnosed birth abnormality.

She is one of four semi-finalists competing tonight in Pattiserie Week, with just three of them progressing to the final next week. Ruby, Kim-Joy, and Rahul are the other three contestants.

Fans praised her and the Bake Off series for not addressing her ‘little hand,’ as she refers to it. Her contact with fans and delicate posts about her personal life have made her a social media sensation.
