When Mr. Ansell learned of the circumstance, he immediately called the police. Nicola and her brown spaniel, Willow, left their Inskip, Lancashire, home.
Police stated today that they were keeping a “open mind” about their lines of investigation and believed Ms. Bulley had vanished rather than been a victim of any crime.
Superintendent Sally Riley also revealed that Nicola’s cell phone was still in use when it was found by the police.
The call was related to a conference that was still going, according to the superintendent.
