Buster Welch’s wife, Sheila Welch, was 76 when she passed away on 7 December 2014. She seems to have died peacefully, with a natural cause of death.

She was notable for being an NCHA Non-Pro of Fame inductee. The couple tied a knot in 1972 and had been together for over four decades before Sheila left this world.

Other than her having her relationship with the cutting legend, she herself loved horses from a very young age.

Her love and interest in the horse brought the couple closer in their relationship. She grew up in Wolf Point, Montana, admiring her granddad Dolin, who was as adored horses.

Upon reaching 10-years of age, she settled down in Fresno, Calif, with her family and even won her first horseback award.
