What Happened to Ons Jabeur Face Shape? The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) ranked Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur as the No. 2 player worldwide on June 27, 2022.

Ons Jabeur, the No. 1 ranked Tunisian tennis player, is the highest-ranked African and Arab tennis player in ATP and WTA rankings history.

She has won 11 singles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit, three singles win on the WTA Tour, and one doubles trophy. Jabeur’s mother taught her tennis when she was three years old.

Jabeur won the Birmingham Classic in 2021, making history as the first African or Arab woman to do it on the WTA Tour. At the 2022 Madrid Open, a WTA 1000 competition, Jabeur became the first Tunisian and Arab player to win at this level.

While Jabeur, 27, defeated Tatjana Maria of Germany 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, Rybakina, 23, defeated Simona Halep of Romania 6-3, 6-3.

Both competitors will remember this final fondly. In their professional careers, Rybakina and Jabeur had never advanced past the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament.

Jabeur reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2021 and the Australian Open in 2020, while Rybakina reached the quarterfinals of the French Open in 2021. They will now compete in Wimbledon.

After Serena Williams’ doubles partner Ons Jabeur withdrew from the WTA Eastbourne International women’s doubles semifinal due to a knee problem, Serena Williams’ supporters will have to wait to see her win another tennis tournament.

Williams and Jabeur advanced to the Eastbourne semifinals this week with two victories, earning the nickname “OnSerena” from the American superstar herself. They were scheduled to battle against Aleksandra Krunic and Magda Linette on Friday for a place in the title game.

The Tunisian was forced to leave the competition due to a knee injury, which allowed Krunic and Linette to play. However, Ons is recovering, and we hope to see her in the next match.

Who Is Ons Jabeur Husband?

Ons Jabeur is married to Karim Kamoun, a former fencer and current fitness coach who is Russian-Tunisian. Ons is fluent in French, English, and Arabic. However, since her spouse speaks Russian, she is currently learning it.

Karim Kamoun, a Russian-Tunisian, has a storied sporting past. He is an accomplished fencer who has participated in numerous international tournaments for Tunisia.

In 2017, Kamoun, who also has a master’s degree in sports science, decided to leave the athletics field to become Jabeur’s physical trainer.

The couple became engaged for two years before getting married in 2015. Kamoun and Jabeur are still residing in Tunisia’s coastal city of Sousse.
