Woolworths is now selling Lotus Biscoff hot cross buns and the limited edition flavour has already been a huge hit.
Foodies were delighted to discover the ‘unique’ new buy – with many already dubbing it the ‘best’ hot cross bun flavour yet.
The hot cross buns ($5.50 for a four-pack) are decorated with Biscoff icing and come filled with the caramelised cinnamon spread.
Nadia, a Perth-based professional baker, revealed: ‘I could not be more excited, I’ve been waiting way too long for this. I think this is the best hot cross bun I’ve ever had.’
The flavour follows the success of Woolies’ fairy bread hot cross buns and the supermarket’s mouth-watering Biscoff cheesecake – both of which flew off the shelves.

Hot cross bun expert and Woolworths Bakery Merchandise Manager Donald Keith says the Easter treat is best enjoyed warmed up to ensure an oozy delicious centre.
Aussies across the country are gearing up to fill their trolleys with troves of the delicious treat.
‘I’m going to buy these first thing in the morning,’ one said.
‘This is a whole new level,’ another wrote. ‘Biscoff jars only last two days in my house.’
‘Finally a hot cross bun flavour I’m dying to try!’ a foodie said. ‘I’m already obsessed.’
But some weren’t as impressed.
‘Bread roll with Biscoff spread is the same thing,’ one said.
‘Biscoff is on everything these days – I’m kind of over it. It is slowly becoming the new Caramilk. Love it so much and then everyone hates it,’ a man wrote.
The hot cross buns are now available in Woolworths stores and online Australia-wide.
Shoppers can find the treats in the bakery section of their local Woolworths location.
Fairy Bread, Brioche Cadbury Chocolate, Indulgent Chocolate buns and a Woolworths favourite, Cadbury Caramilk hot cross buns, will also be up for grabs along with more traditional flavours.
