Before we go into the cause of death of pastor Taiwo’s New Wife, Odukoya Nomthi, let’s first understand Bimbo Odukoya cause of death.
The Sosoliso plane crash that took place in 2005 claimed lots of lives in the country, till today most people have not been able to move on from the loss. Lots of people lost their family members in that crash and one of the people who was deeply affected by the plane crash, is the family of Bimbo Odukoya.
Bimbo Odukoya was a popular Evangelist who has led lots of people to Christ, she was a great lady who is respected in Nigeria and it was very painful when she lost her life in the plane crash.
Bimbo Odukoya whose full name is Bimbola Rosemary Odukoya was born on the 12 of September in the year 1960, and she sadly died on the 11 of December in the year 2015 after she got involved In the ‘Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145’ plane crash which was traveling from Abuja to Port Harcourt on the 10 of December 2015, she sustained several injuries and burns and was rushed to the hospital but she died the following day.
Bimbo Odukoya was the Associate Senior pastor at the Fountain of Life Bible Church, she was also a woman that love to fight for the rights of women, she was the leader of a fellowship group that is created to enlighten women. She was also a marriage counselor who saved lots of marriages in the society.
She inspired, advised and educated a lot of young people on her television programme when she was alive.
Before her death Bimbo Odukoya was married to a wonderful man named Taiwo Odukoya, who is the General Overseer of the Fountain of Life Bible Church.
The union of Pastor Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya was blessed with three wonderful children before she sadly passed away. Their names are Tolu, Jimmy and Tobi Odukoya.
Tolu Odukoya
Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun is the first daughter of the late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya. Taiwo Odukoya, has ventured into music because according to her it has been her passion. She also has a blog titled ‘Talk Relationships’ which she uses to educate women and young ladies.
Tolu Odukoya Ijogun is married and her union is blessed with lovely Children.
Jimmy Odukoya
Jimmy is a pastor just like his parents and he is making a lot of impact by influencing lives in Society. Jimmy Odukoya who is mostly known as Pastor J is also a Singer, Rapper, Dancer, Model, Poet, and Businessman, and Nollywood actor. He joined the Nollywood movie industry not long ago and he has featured in over 20 movies. Jimmy Odukoya is married and has lovely Children.
Tobi Odukoya
Tobi is the last child and daughter of Bimbo Odukoya, she is also a pastor and philosopher just like her mother. She became one of the youngest PHD holder in the year 2017 after the bagged a PHD degree at the age of 27.
On the 12 of September in the year 2020 she got married to the love of her life named Oluchi Enuha, and the wedding ceremony was the talk of the Town.
Bimbo Odukoya is a great woman and she died at a young age, but wherever she is now she will be happy that are children are doing well.

Taiwo Odukoya, the presiding pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, has announced the passing onto glory of his wife of eleven years, Rosemary Simangele Nomthi (nee Zulu), a South African beauty.
Odukoya, 63, had got married to Nomthi in Lagos in 2010 after his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Rosemary Odukoya, died in the 2005 Sosoliso air crash, which also claimed the lives of hundreds of students of the Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja.
Speaking in his grief, Pastor Odukoya wrote:
“With deep regret and gratitude to God, I have to announce the passing of my wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
She battled cancer for the better part of two years. She stood on the word of God and she fought.
She gave me eleven beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life.
I love her with all my heart but who am I to fight the will of God…”
Before death separated them, Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya were married for 21 years. The union was blessed with three children – Tolu, Jimi and Tobi.
The marriage between Odukoya and Nomthi is blessed with two male children.
