During a hike through a jungle in the Republic of the Congo, the actress had a tragic fall and broke her leg in four places; thankfully, she received a life-saving 55-hour rescue that has made her able to walk and run on her two feets today.

With no pulse in her right leg, Judd traveled in a motorbike for six hours to spend nine days at a hospital in South Africa and later got Medevaced to Tennessee to get her surgery done. Moreover, the actress severely damaged her neurological system during the tragedy.

Judd has not had any health scares in the recent years. People were curious to know if she had cancer as the actress looked very different in recent pictures.

Judd got spotted with a swollen face, and some netizens have speculated that she went through plastic surgery, which doesn’t appear to be the case.

The actress might have cried overnight over the grief of her mother’s demise; she lost her beloved mom Naomi Judd to mental illness at 76 on April 30, 2022. Her eyes and face must have gotten puffier from crying her heart out.

Thus, Ashley didn’t go through any procedure to fix any part of her face as she is stunning and hasn’t shared any details relating to changing her facial features. Nonetheless, we are sending healing prayers and warm hugs to Judd and her family to overcome the loss, and may Naomi’s departed soul rest easy in paradise.

Ashley is healthy and back on her feet as per The Sun. She underwent extensive surgery and rehabilitation, including osteopathy, physiotherapy, and yoga.

Moreover, as per her IMDB profile, Judd has gotten engaged in her upcoming projects, including #FBF and Anita. She will be portraying the story of Anita Bryant, a former beauty queen, and singer in Anita; however, the release dates haven’t gotten disclosed.

Ashley got engaged to Scottish former racing driver Dario Franchitti in 1999 and tied the knot in December of 2001 at Skibo Castle in Scotland.

But after spending 12 years as a married couple, the pair parted their ways and called it quits in 2013 for undisclosed reasons. Moreover, Judd and Franchitti do not share any children, as the former racing driver is an antinatalist. However, he has two daughters with his now-wife, Eleanor Robb.
