He and his brother graduated from MIT alongside each other.

His brother is an amateur musician who is enamored with dogs and was an athlete in college.

Nick was born in the early 1990s to Eric and Linda Uhlenhuth and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky with at least four siblings, including twin brother Zack.
