What Happened To Madison Cawthorn? Accident Leg Injury Details

Madison Cawthorn, an American politician, has been the U.S. representative for North Carolina’s 11th congressional district since 2021.

He was elected to Congress in 2020 to replace Republican Mark Meadows. Cawthorn is the second-youngest member of Congress, following Jed Johnson Jr.

In addition, he is the firstborn in the 1990s. Cawthorn has prioritized messaging over legislation.

He is currently in the news for a wheelchair accident.

The story of Madison Cawthorn has touched people’s hearts. However, on  27 February 2021, however, the Washington Post mentioned there is more to his accident story.

Madison once mentioned his friend Bradley Ledford, who was driving, left him to die “in a fiery tomb”.

The police report, however, told a different story than his. Cawthorn was “incapacitated,” according to the crash report.

Following that, Ledford claimed that he yanked Madison out of the car as soon as he could. Madison’s friend Ledfords came forward to tell the Washington Post that it hurt when Madison said something so false.

 

What Happened To Madison Cawthorn? Leg Injury Details

Madison Cawthorn has been in a wheelchair since 2014. At the age of 18, he got into an accident that left his body paralyzed from the waist down.

The Sun reported the unhappening incident that took place in Florida when a car he was a passenger in hit a concrete pylon. Critically injured in the crash, Madison’s Navy plan was derailed.

During his speech at the Republican National Convention, he told that he thought of giving up at the age of 20 right after the accident. However, he later realized he can still make a difference and made a choice.

In the end, he urged all the Americans not to cower to a mob but kneel before God and stand for our flag.

 

How Did Madison Cawthorn Got Paralyzed?

Madison Cawthorn got paralyzed after his accident in 2014. During his speech, at the same Republican National Convention, he stood up out of the wheelchair.
