Dylan Jenkins Accident: Is He Dead Or Still Alive? How Did The Sarasota Car Crash Happen?
Dylan Jenkins died in a car accident in Fayette County on November 27, 2021.
He is not a victim of the Sarasota car crash that occurred on December 27, 2021. A 17-year-old girl hit two pedestrians, a 67-year-old man from Michigan and a 62-year-old female, with her sedan on Raymond Road around 6:15 p.m., according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Both victims were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital following the incident. The man died on December 28th, and the woman is in critical condition.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:50 p.m. on Crook Yankeetown Road in Madison Township. According to reports, a westbound 2001 Volkswagon Beetle collided with a trench on the side of a road, causing the vehicle to overturn.

As a result, Dylan and Dustin Matthews, 29, were ejected from the vehicle because neither wore safety restraints. Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other victim was taken to the OSU Medical Center. It was not clear who was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The crash was suspected to have been caused by alcohol or drugs. Nonetheless, it is still being investigated.
Dylan’s funeral service was held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home on December 2, 2021, at 1 p.m., and he was laid to rest at Springfield Friends Cemetery. Friends and family arrived between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Alyssa and Levi Jenkins are Dylan’s nieces and nephews. John V. Shoemaker, Tony (Anna) Felheim, Jeanie and Herb Weidlich, and Teresa Jenkins are his grandparents. His great grandfather is Neil G. Felheim, his uncle is Ryan (Dawn) Felheim, and his aunt is Julia Strider. He also has several other cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Virginia Fleming Shoemaker, great grandfather, James H. Jenkins, great grandmother, Betty Quigley Felheim, great grandparents, Thomas and Frances Fleming, and stepfather, Duane E. Caplinger.
