It was gathered that Dr. Chike was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Anambra in the early hours of Wednesday while on his way to attend a memorial event in honour of Late Professor Dora Akunyili.

The deceased was the husband to the Late Former DG of NAFDAC, Dora Akunyili in Abuja.

But a source close to the family, who preferred anonymity, has confirmed the killing but declined further comments.

The impact of the shot led to a deep gush on his face as seen in the video.
