Roger Weaver Freed, 34, of Cogan Station, was a Williamsport Area School District (WASD) principal, and the Williamsport Police Department claims that he had a sexual relationship with a Williamsport Area School District student between the ages of 16 and 22.
According to the investigators, the student told them that they first met Freed at the Williamsport Area Middle School Service Center in either 2014 or 2015, when the student was in the 9th or 10th grade. The kid explained that they had the impression that Freed was someone that they could confide in like an older brother.
According to what is mentioned in the affidavit, the student told the authorities that their relationship with Freed began to take a sexual turn while they were juniors in high school and that it continued for seven more years until April of 2022.
According to the police report, the student stated that they would “make out” in Freed’s office at the Williamsport Area School District, as well as smoke cigars and consume alcoholic beverages there.
