Luke Roux, 17, died on Saturday night due to a car accident. He came between a two-car crash and was seriously injured.
According to nbcconnecticut.com, around 8:30 p.m., police were called to a two-car collision on Colt Highway in Farmington at the intersection of Fienemann Road.

Another youngster Jacob Coffey, 21-year-old driving the next car was also the victim along with Roux. They both were transported to area hospitals for their injuries. Shortly after the collision, Roux was pronounced dead at John Dempsey Hospital, according to authorities.

The student body, faculty, staff, and administration at Farmington Public Schools will always remember his kind demeanor throughout school, his perseverance and work ethic on and off the baseball diamond and hockey rink, and his exceptional academic achievements.
