He also told MailOnline that his exhaustion was “debilitating,” and when doctors informed him it was because of his job, he said, “this is different.”
“I was conversing with people and I believed I was on the verge of narcolepsy because I’d be mid-conversation and snoring and not realize it, it was extremely bizarre,” he stated.
He said that physicians advised him to use an oxygen mask to cope with his illness. “There’s nothing sexier than going back to Roman Kemp’s place,” he quipped.
“They were anticipating candles and mood lighting, but instead they got a Darth Vader imitation into an oxygen tank. My romantic life will resemble a specialized Channel 5 documentary!”
He has been in his position since 2017, and he aims to spend at least a decade on the radio before focusing on his health.

Kemp has stated that he wants to retire early because he despises stardom and hopes to one day start a dog sanctuary.
