Her family was always there to help her overcome the difficulties that followed after amputation. She noticed only a handful of active people in the industry representing a differently able community.

Soon she started modeling and then acting. Zyra is actively contributing to different community work targeted at amputated people. She also helps the non-profit organization Amputee Blade Runners, who provided her with prosthetic legs she uses.

When Zyra lost her leg in a logging accident, she became the seventh amputee in the small Michigan town where she was raised. The community’s rate of limb loss per capita is nearly twice as high as the national average.

Besides La Brea, Zyra is known for her work in Chicago Fire and The Kelly Clarkson Show. All of her work before La Brea was not a recurring type; in a sense, Zyra was in a guest role.

Zyra Gorecki has a recurring role in the American sci-fiction drama series La Brea. The hit series has received mixed reviews from critics, and it was renewed for a second season in November 2021.

The second season will produce 14 episodes, a sharp increase from its initial 10-episode freshman run. As the season one finale came to a close, Gavin, Ella, and Izzy took a leap of faith into a tiny Seattle sinkhole.

Zyra was born on July 4, 2002, in Michigan. The gorgeous actress flaunts her beautiful height of approximately 5 feet and 11 inches. Zyra has naturally blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes.

She believed that she could touch people’s lives, disheartened by her physical disability. Zyra aims to inspire the people who have faced a similar fate as hers.
